Absolutely. Visit the home page and go to the Book In-Person Visit section to book an appointment. And always feel free to email us.
Our process is easy and simple. Look at our available kittens and cats, if there is one or more you are interested in go to the home page and book an in-person visit. No deposit required. We are available by appointment every day. Listed kittens can go home the same day.
No, we do not take deposits. We don't want to keep you waiting and your money hostage. Simply visit us in person to decide if a kitten or cat is a good fit for you. If you find one that suits you, you can pay in person and take the kitten or cat home.
No, our policy is not taking deposits and waitlisting. Deposits and waitlists can make it challenging to perfectly match an owner to a kitten, especially if you have specific criteria in mind. This often leads to delays and frustrations on both sides, while the perfect kitten might be available for someone else in the meantime. By not using a waitlist system, we aim to give you full autonomy in your choice and your finances, ensuring you can make a decision that feels right for you without unnecessary delays and pressures. Our goal is to help you find your ideal companion as quickly and seamlessly as possible!
Drive, flight, Pet Courier, or we can ship via airline (seasonal determined by outside temperatures). We can hold a cat or kitten for a few days to arrange travels.
We can do: check, cash and card (debit or credit). With card however, there is a 3% processing fee for the total amount. We are a registered business so we do have to charge sales tax which for our area is 10.2%.
Unfortunately Yes, WA state requires us to charge everyone sales tax (10.2% as of 10/2024). You can apply for a partial refund from the state for the state sales tax portion (roughly 6.5% so you'll be out the remaining 3.7%). We currently use scoop away complete cat litter. At least initially we recommend using the same one. Transition slowly. The litter box is open top which is important initially as well. They most likely will not even know it’s a litter box if it’s enclosed and so you will need to start with an open top and transition to it being enclosed if using an enclosed litter box.

Every little kitten we raise is cherished, and we take immense pride in nurturing them into healthy loving companions. Our commitment to maintaining the Maine Coon’s distinct characteristics sets us apart; we have a unique breed appearance that you won’t find anywhere else. Our original studs and queens were imported from various countries across Europe—Germany, Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Austria, Czechia, and Russia—bringing diverse genetics that contribute to the exceptional looks and personalities of our Maine Coons. Please understand the risks if purchasing out of Country and it's going to cost (over $3,800 for the cat, flight/shipping, paperwork, etc.). The majority of scams happen with oversea purchases.

Yes, at Coon-Kingdom we test all of our breeding Studs and Queens for HCM using the UC Davis Veterinary Genetics Laboratory. All of our breeding Maine Coons are N/N meaning they are Normal and have ZERO copies of the A31P mutation associated with HCM in Maine Coon cats.
Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy is the most common cardiac disease in cats. Affected cats are at risk of sudden cardiac death due to defects that produce increased left ventricular heart muscle thickness. In the Maine Coon breed, the A31P mutation in the cardiac myosin binding protein C gene (MYBPC3) has been found to be associated with increased risk for HCM. See the following link for more details: https://www.vgl.ucdavis.edu/services/cat/MaineCoonHCM.php
Yes, all of our studs and queens are registered with the CFA (The Worlds Largest Registry for Pedigreed Cats) www.cfa.org
Our Studs and Queens have national and world champion bloodlines. Your kitten is a pedigreed purebred Maine Coon and can be registered with the CFA if you choose. You will receive the paperwork (called a blue slip) to register the kitten with the CFA. Registering is essential if you would like to show your kitten or simply want the official document to show your kitten/cat is pedigreed. The cost to register is $16 if registered within 30 days of purchase or $21 anytime thereafter. Registration instructions will be on the blue slip.
Not a guarantee of course but from our many years of experience they do great with kids. We have 26 grandkids and counting and so our cats and kittens get lots of exposure to kids.
Not a guarantee of course but from our many years of experience we have only heard positive experiences from customers who have dogs. The bigger the dog the better they seem to do. They have dog like personalities themselves.
